This course is taught remotely and engages participants through role plays, group discussions, and engaging lectures. Learn skills necessary to successfully mediate cases that fall within the jurisdiction of Florida’s Family Courts. Attendees will develop the ability to identify key issues specific to family mediation such as issues time-sharing and the division of marital assets, while also coming away with a good foundation of the mediation process. 

40 CEUs for Florida Licensed Psychologists, Marriage and Family Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, and Mental Health Counselors. 

40 hours of Continuing Mediator Education for Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediators.

45 CLE Credits for members of the Florida Bar - 45 General, 1 Bias Elimination, 4 Ethics, 1 Professionalism, and 2.5 Technology.  Certification Credits - 3 Appellate Practice and 3 Civil Trial

This remote course engages participants through role plays, group discussions, and engaging lectures, while also meeting the training requirements of the Florida Supreme Court. Attendees will come away with a good foundation of the key mediation processes and techniques needed to mediate all types of circuit civil mediations.

Florida Supreme Court 24 hour County Mediation Training Program

This course is taught remotely and engages participants through role plays, group discussions, and engaging lectures. Attendees will learn the skills necessary to successfully mediate cases that fall within the jurisdiction of Florida’s County Courts, while also developing the ability to identify key issues, generate settlement agreements, maintain neutrality as a mediator, and come away with a good foundation of the mediation process. 

This program provides 22.0 Florida Bar Approved CLE Credits including:

3.0 Credits in Bias Elimination

2.5 Credits in Ethics
